Parson Jack…

WHY THE NAME…it was chosen at a dinner party at the Hotel Du Vin in Bristol on Sue’s birthday, a bunch of friends were given 10 different names and on a closed ballot and a lot of vin later,  Parson Jack came out favourite, our dogs Woody and Twiglet are Parson Jack Russell Terriers.  Quite often when we are out sailing David is mistaken for a man of the cloth – called Jack!!!

 

SHE… (all boats are female) was purchased at the London Boat Show 2000 with the intention of sailing the Atlantic soon but it has taken us almost 10 years to pluck up the courage do it !!

 

PARSON JACK…is a 46 foot sloop, blue water cruising yacht, centre cockpit,  inmast furling, shoal keel, draught 1.5m,  weighing 15 tons.  She is now fully equipped for Ocean cruising…and we can’t wait.
