The First Leg
Plymouth to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
The first leg of our journey started in Plymouth on 22nd August 2009, we headed directly for Las Palmas, some 1448 nautical miles, passing through sea area’s Biscay, Fitzroy and Trafalgar.
We arrived at Las Palmas on 3rd September at 1.30pm, some 13 days after we set off .
We had a mixed crew; Captain David Robson, Sue Robson, Lindsay Tilley, Sally Baum and Professional Skipper Bob Beggs,
